StrongPoint: Changes in organization and Executive Management Team

StrongPoint: Changes in organization and Executive Management Team

StrongPoint ASA is making changes in its organization and Executive Management Team (EMT).

StrongPoint is establishing an E-commerce Business Unit, where all E-commerce related activity is gathered. As per today, this includes StrongPoint Cub and Click & Collect. SVP E-commerce will be Göran Thörn, whom was the CEO of Cub.

A Global Partner Business Unit will be established. The partner responsible has earlier been reporting to the SVP of EMEA, Trond Kongrød. With this change, Trond Kongrød will get to spend more time on sales in StrongPoint's focus countries outside its Home markets, namely Spain, France and Germany. Further, with a dedicated SVP for Partners, we expect additional focus on partner sales. As SVP Global Partner, an internal recruitment is ongoing, and the announcement of an SVP is expected mid-September.

Finally, StrongPoint returns to a separate SVP of Cash Security, as was the case prior to January 1, 2018. Lars-Åke Köpper, whom was earlier SVP of Cash Security, will lead this Business Unit.

"These changes will contribute to focusing StrongPoint's sales efforts even more going forward", says CEO of StrongPoint, Jacob Tveraabak.

More details on changes in the StrongPoint organization and its Executive Management Team, and how this fits with its revised strategy, will be further elaborated on at the next quarterly presentation.

StrongPoint's Executive Management Team will consist of:

- Jacob Tveraabak, CEO

- Anders Nilsen, CFO

- Per Haagensen, SVP Home markets (Norway, Sweden, Baltics)

- Trond Kongrød, SVP EMEA

- Göran Thörn, SVP E-commerce

- TBD, SVP Global Partners

- Evaldas Budvilaitis, SVP Technology

- Lars-Åke Köpper, SVP Supply Chain and SVP Cash Security

- Leif Persson, SVP Labels

These changes will be effective as of September 3, except SVP Global Partners, which will be effective as soon as internal recruitment is concluded.
