Resignation of Chairman

On October 24th, the Company issued the following Stock Exchange Notice: "Chairman of the Board, Terje Rogne has via his fully owned company, Admaniha AS, today sold 750 000 shares in Nordic Semiconductor ASA to a average price of NOK 34,8784. Remaining share balance after the transaction is 325 000 shares."

In a comment, Chairman Terje Rogne has made the following statement:

"My confidence in Nordic Semiconductor ASA as a current leader in the Bluetooth Low-Energy market and an emerging leader in the highly promising field of NB-IoT and LTE-M remains rock solid. Unfortunately, as a consequence of a personal liquidity shortfall on my part, my bank informed me yesterday that 750 000 of my shares in Nordic Semiconductor had been sold to cover the bank's position. This is the full explanation for my share sale as reported by the Company and I remain highly optimistic about the Company and its prospects.

In order to preserve the best interests for the company I have decided to take the consequence of this by resigning from the Board of Directors. All questions can be directed to the Vice Chairman of the Board, Tore Valderhaug.
