Nel ASA: Reference is made to stock exchange announcement regarding contract for heavy duty H2Station® solution

(Oslo, 22 February 2019) On 30 January 2019 Nel Hydrogen Inc., a subsidiary of

Nel ASA (Nel, OSE:NEL), entered into a contract for delivery of a H2Station®

solution for fueling of heavy-duty vehicles in California from EQUILON

Enterprises LLC (d/b/a/ Shell Oil Products US). The contract was entered under

the previously announced framework agreement between Nel and Shell Global

Solutions International B.V.

hydrogen as a fuel for the heavy-duty sector is moving faster than expected, we

Manager, Nel Hydrogen Inc., North America.

As announced on 30 January, the H2Station® order has a total value of more than

$6 million. The stations will serve a fleet of heavy-duty trucks from a major

vehicle OEM operating in the Greater Los Angeles area.
