Asetek Settles Intellectual Property Dispute with Asia Vital Components
Asetek A/S today announced that its subsidiary Asetek Danmark A/S and Asia Vital
Components Co. (AVC) have reached a confidential settlement agreement to resolve
their disputes.
The parties have signed a binding term sheet that, among other things, resolves
the litigation regarding Asetek U.S. Patent Nos. 8,240,362 and 8,245,764 pending
in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and
includes an injunction that prevents AVC from selling, offering for sale, or
importing the AVC products accused of infringement in the United States.
