Win in Court of Appeal regarding gray silverfish
The court ruling in Protector's first case in the Court of Appeal concerning gray silverfish was issued April 9th 2019.
A central issue in the case has been whether value reduction of the property may be compensated due to gray silverfish or not. The court ruling is stating that in this case gray silverfish does not entail value reduction.
Our view on our reserves on gray silverfish is changed in positive direction and we will realize reserve gains in Q1 in line with our "good scenario", MNOK 52, communicated when presenting the Q32018-results.
The court ruling is attached and is available on the company`s website www.protectorforsikring.no. The court ruling is not legally final.
Further information will be given 26th April in connection with the presentation of the Q1 results.
