Press release: Nel launches containerized large-scale PEM electrolyzer
Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, today officially launched
the M Series containerized ProtonT PEM electrolyzer
"We have spent considerable effort over the last year to finalize the design of
our M Series ProtonT PEM electrolyzer in a containerized version. It is a
pleasure to now officially include this product in our product offering, and we
are already experiencing significant interest for this solution in the market,"
says Anders Søreng, CTO of Nel.
The containerized version of the M Series will be delivered as standard 1 and 2
MW (200 and 400 Nm3/hr) configurations. Scaling up from the 1 MW platform to the
2 MW platform and allowing multiple units to be integrated easily in the field
was a key consideration during the development.
"We are paying close attention to the market and our customers' needs. With the
containerized M Series ProtonT PEM electrolyzer, we are offering the same
robustness and reliability of our conventional M Series units, enabling faster
and more flexible installation," Søreng concludes.
