BELSHIPS ASA : Disclosure of changed shareholding

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement by Belships ASA (the

"Company" or "Belships") today, on 1 August 2019, regarding completion of the

acquisition of a 55,866 dwt bulk carrier from Prospero Marine Ltd AS (the

"Transaction") and the issuance of 7,405,114 consideration shares by Belships to

Prospero Marine Ltd (the "Share Issue").

As a result of the Share Issue, the shareholding of Wenaasgruppen AS with close

associates has been diluted and passed under the threshold of 5% of the shares

and votes in the Company. Based on the Company's new share capital following the

Share Issue registered today, the shareholding of Wenaasgruppen AS with close

associates of 10,573,275 shares in Belships, equals 4.98% of the shares and

votes in the Company.
