Disclosure of significant shareholding

Equinor ASA ("Equinor") acquired 6,500,000 shares in Scatec Solar ASA on 19 December 2019.

Following the transaction, Equinor holds 18,965,400 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 15.16 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA. In addition, Equinor Insurance AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equinor, holds 53,216 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.04 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA.

Following the transaction, the combined shareholding of Equinor and Equinor Insurance AS is 19,018,616 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 15.20 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA.

Neither Equinor, nor Equinor Insurance AS hold any rights to shares in Scatec Solar ASA.

Funds managed by Equinor Asset Management ASA, holding 67,725 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.05 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA, and Equinor Pension, a pension fund established for the benefit of employees in Equinor, holds 207,914 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.17 percent of the shares and votes in Scatec Solar ASA, are not consolidated with Equinor.
