Selvaag Bolig ASA: Selvaag Bolig pays an extraordinary dividend of more than NOK 2 billion
Selvaag Bolig proposed to the general meeting that it sell large parts of its
land bank to Urban Property. This NOK 3.4 billion transaction has now been
implemented, and the board of Selvaag Bolig has resolved to pay a dividend of
NOK 22.00 per share.
Urban Property is a new company structure which has been established to purchase
and own Selvaag Bolig's sites. It will also have a pre-emptive right to buy all
new land Selvaag Bolig wants to develop. The properties will be repurchased by
Selvaag Bolig in stages.
The two companies will be long-term and strategic partners, and Selvaag Bolig
will have a pre-emptive right and option to repurchase the land.
Selvaag Bolig has paid NOK 14.30 per share in dividend since 2013. The total
annual dividend in 2018 was NOK 4.50. A dividend of NOK 2.00 was paid for the
first half of 2019.
