PetroNor E&P Limited ("PetroNor" or the "Company")

Director Resignation

PetroNor (OSE ticker: "PNOR"), the independent oil and gas exploration and production company with a focus on production, development and exploration assets across sub-Saharan Africa, announces that Dr. David King, Non-Executive Director of PetroNor, has informed the Board of his decision to resign for medical reasons, effective 1 February 2020.

Following the resignation, the Board will be comprised of six Directors.

Commenting on the update, Eyas Almohouz, Chairman of PetroNor, said:

"We thank David for his sizeable contribution to PetroNor, and to African Petroleum in his previous role as Chairman, and wish him well for a speedy recovery and with his future endeavours. The Board will commence a search for a replacement Non-Executive Director in short order to ensure the Board is appropriately structured in terms of Independence and Governance, and is in compliance with its obligations."
