Change to dividend proposal Kid ASA

With reference to the previous Trading Update of 7 April 2020, the Board of Directors of KID ASA has today decided to reduce the previously announced dividend proposal of NOK 2.4 per share to NOK 1.2.

Furthermore, the Board of Directors maintains its proposal that the general meeting grants an authorization to the Board of Directors to resolve additional dividends based on the annual accounts for 2019, upcoming market developments and the company's equity and liquidity. The proposed authorization will cover the period up until the annual general meeting in 2021.

The decision to reduce the dividend payable in May 2020 was made after thorough assessments by the board and administration based on the uncertainty related to the short-term effects the corona virus outbreak, governmental actions and initiatives, as well as general economic and market trends.

KID remains confident on its solid financial situation and liquidity, and the decision does not entail any changes to the company's dividend policy, targeting a dividend of 80-100% of adjusted net earnings.
