Veidekke ASA: To build new residential project in Malmö

Veidekke Entreprenad has been commissioned by Veidekke Eiendom to build the

first stage of Atmosfären, a new residential project in Malmö. The contract has

a value of SEK 142 million.

The new residential area Atmosfären in Limhamns Sjöstad outside Malmö will

comprise 90 units of different sizes. Since sales start in June of last year,

the project has attracted great interest, and Veidekke Eiendom has now

commissioned Veidekke Entreprenad to build the first stage. This stage

encompasses 62 residential units and an underground garage which will service

both building stages. Construction will start in May, and the first stage will

be ready for occupation at yearend 2021/2022.

The L-shaped building which will accommodate the first 62 units, will be built

to comply with the Nordic Swan ecolabel. The six-floor building will contain

residential units ranging in size from 23 to 125 square meters. The lower-level

units will have large patios facing a green inner courtyard, and the two

penthouse units will have large private roof terraces. The garage underneath the

building will include a car pool scheme for residents without a car of their

own.

The contract is included in the first-quarter 2020 order intake.
