Magnora ASA: board approves capital distribution
Oslo, Norway, 16th July 2020: The Board of Directors of MAGNORA ASA, a leading renewable energy investment company, has approved a cash distribution of NOK 0.08 per share.
As announced in previous stock exchange announcements and quarterly reports, Magnora intends to regularly distribute capital to its shareholders.
In the report for the first quarter 2020, the Company indicated a dividend of NOK 0.08 per share, which is aligned with the current capital needs for investments related to the new strategic direction of Magnora. The Board of Directors has now approved a cash distribution of NOK 4,200,842, corresponding to NOK 0.08 per share to be paid this month.
The cash distribution is a repayment of paid-in capital in excess of the par value of the Magnora share.
The cash distribution is based on the Company’s annual accounts for 2019 and was authorised by the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 26 May 2020. The AGM authorisation is valid until the next AGM to be held in May 2021 and will in all cases lapse on 30 June 2021.

Payment date: 24 July 2020
