Disclosure of significant shareholding

Following the private placement in Scatec Solar ASA on 21.10.2020 (the “Transaction”), Equinor ASA’s (“Equinor”) shareholding will be reduced from 15.09 percent to 13.72 percent.

Equinor holds 20,776,200 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 13.72 percent of the shares and votes. In addition, Equinor Insurance AS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Equinor, holds 53,216 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 0.04 percent of the shares and votes.

The combined shareholding of Equinor and Equinor Insurance AS is 20,829,416 shares in Scatec Solar ASA, corresponding to 13.75 percent of the shares and votes.

Neither Equinor, nor Equinor Insurance AS hold any rights to shares in Scatec Solar ASA.
