RECOGNISED TO SIMONE S.P.A. 100% OF THE TAX CREDIT PROVIDED BY THE ZES

• In return for an investment of 2.5 million Euro, a credit of 1.2 million Euro was recognised
• This facilitation can be cumulated with the "Transition 4.0", amounting to 450 thousand Euro

Milan, 16 th December 2024 – Simone S.p.A. ("Simone" or the "Company"), a company operating in the publishing sector listed on Euronext Growth Milan, announces that the tax credit provided for in the context of the ZES (Special Economy Zone), requested by the company on 11 July 2024, has been fully recognised. Thus, the investment for a new digital printing plant with a total value of approximately EUR 2,500,000 (of which EUR 2,341,409 can be subsidised) will be subsidised for ZES purposes by EUR 1,170,705.

This acknowledgement was communicated by Agenzia delle Entrate through Provision Prot. No. 446421/2024 "Determination of the percentages of the tax credit actually usable for investments in the Special Economic Zone for Southern Italy – single ZES, referred to in Article 16 of Decree-Law n. 124 of 19 September 2023, quantified on the basis of the supplementary communications sent pursuant to Article 1, paragraph 1, of Decree-Law n. 113 of 9 August 2024".

It should be noted that the tax credit provided for by the ZES can be cumulated with that relating to Transition 4.0, aimed at incentivising the technological development of companies. The amount of this facilitation is equal to 20% of the amount of the investment, that is 452,882 Euro.
