Organisational changes in Sparebanken Møre

The board of Sparebanken Møre has today approved organisational changes effective as of latest 6 April 2021.

The new organisational structure involves changes in the group management of Sparebanken Møre.

The functions of economy and finance, which currently is placed in Section for Finance and Facilities Management and Section for Treasury and Markets, will be combined into one entity, Section for Economy and Finance.

- We have a strong and competent professional environment within these areas, and by combining them into one entity, we will achieve positive synergies and thus even greater impact force, says CEO Trond Lars Nydal of Sparebanken Møre.

The process to recruit an EVP to lead the new section will shortly be initiated.

Runar Sandanger (EVP Treasury & Markets) will work as an interim EVP for the new section until a new EVP is recruited. He will then take on the position as a Senior Economist in the new section.

Idar Vattøy (EVP Finance and Facilities Management) will also take on the position as a Senior Economist in Section for Economy and Finance from latest 6 April.
