Tekna Holding commissions additional plasma atomizer for titanium and approves multi-million-dollar capacity increase to deliver on accelerating growth.

(Tekna, OSE:TEKNA), the world-leading provider of advanced materials to
industry, has commissioned a state-of-the-art powder atomizer for titanium to
meet growing demand from the aerospace, medical, and automotive industries. The
new powder atomizer commissioned for titanium comes with highly automated
real-time process controls which translates into low labour operating cost.
In line with the company's growth strategy, Tekna's Board of Directors today
approved the manufacturing of six new production systems for the Additive
Manufacturing, Printed Electronics and Energy Storage segments. This investment
will bring the company's total number of plasma systems to 14.

increased powder sales, a trend which is accelerating. We're seeing growing

atomizer, will ensure that we stay ahead of the demand curve. Tekna's plasma
systems enable us to produce materials with superior performance characteristics
to support our customers' development, enhance their competitiveness and reduce

Canada.
Tekna established its subsidiary Tekna Advanced Materials (TAM) in 2014 for the
industrial production of titanium and other powders for 3D printing. Since then,
the company has focused on optimizing production and the end product. Today TAM
is a qualified supplier to a wide range of leading producers in the medical,
aerospace, defence and automotive sectors. Tekna notably became the first
worldwide supplier qualified by Boeing for additive manufacturing powders in
2020 - Boeing Material Specification (BMS) Titanium alloy powders and BMS
Aluminum alloy powders. With a rapidly rising customer base and share of repeat
deliveries, Tekna is making ongoing plans to expand capacity in order to meet
the growing demand.
