Bergen Carbon Solutions: Update on EcoNano LOI with Japanese company
(Bergen, 9th of May 2021) Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS, OSE:BCS) today announces first carbon-nanofibers (EcoNano) shipment and continued discussions under the Letter of Intent (LOI) with a Japanese company.
“We have through the weekend finalized our product shipment of EcoNano to the Japanese company and initiated the cooperation process with theie R&D team following the public holiday last week. Our aim is to enter an EcoNano supply agreement during the second quarter, and to be one of the preferred partners, following product verification and potential completion of the commercial terms,” says Jan B. Sagmo, CEO of Bergen Carbon Solutions.
Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement 29th of April 2021, regarding the LOI with a Japanese company aiming at establishing BCS as one of the main suppliers of carbon-nanofibers for the production of the company’s composite materials.
The first EcoNano-shipment under the LOI has been made and the technical due diligence and commercial discussions will commence as outlined under the agreement.
