Council Approves Marina Access for New Clean Seas Whyalla Farm

Clean Seas acknowledges the Whyalla Council's recent approval to allow access to the Point Lowly Marina in support of the establishment of a new farming location at Fitzgerald Bay (in the northern Spencer Gulf of South Australia), under existing leases granted by the State Government of South Australia.

Clean Seas appreciates the engagement and feedback from the local Whyalla community and looks forward to delivering on the promised jobs, local investment, industry diversification and career pathways that will result from the commencement of farming at Fitzgerald Bay.

The development of the Fitzgerald Bay location will deliver a significant increase in productive capacity, adding an additional full life cycle farm to complement the Company's existing Port Lincoln farm. Clean Seas intends to commence farming at Fitzgerald Bay later this year, with the stocking of its Year Class 22 juveniles beginning in September.

Clean Seas Managing Director Rob Gratton said "This is good outcome for the company and the local Whyalla Community. We are now focussed on investing in the Fitzgerald Bay Farm and building a high quality, sustainable growth industry that will create regional employment and opportunities, valuable export quality Yellowtail Kingfish and returns for shareholders".

Authorised for release by the Board of Clean Seas Seafood Limited (ASX: CSS).
