Bergen Carbon Solutions: Update on LOI with Japanese company

(Bergen, 28 June 2021) Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS, OSE:BCS) today announces that technical tests under the 29 April 2021 Letter Of Intent (LOI) with a Japanese company is expected to commence during July 2021.

“We are working closely with our Japanese partner and have completed the technical assessments of the carbon-nanofiber testing. We expect to shortly, pending laboratory capacity, to commence lab scale testing with technology blending to produce advanced next-generation products. We target to enter into a EcoNano supply agreement following the product verification and the potential completion of the commercial terms, “ says Jan B. Sagmo, CEO of Bergen Carbon Solutions.

Reference is made to the press release 9 May 2021 regarding Bergen Carbon Solutions’ LOI with a Japanese company aiming at establishing Bergen Carbon Solutions as one of the main suppliers of carbon-nanofibers (EcoNano) for the production of the company’s composite materials.

The first EcoNano shipments were made in May 2021 and the technical tests are expected to commence during July 2021.
