Zalaris ASA: Acquisition of ba.se. GmbH completed - providing platform for strengthened growth in Germany and Central Europe

Zalaris ASA has successfully completed the acquisition of ba.se. service &

consulting GmbH ("ba.se"), which was announced on 19 May.

Ba.se. is a leading provider of payroll and HR services within the German retail

sector. With this expansion, Zalaris increases its recurring revenue base in

Germany, and gains significant expertise within the retail sector.

The acquisition will provide Zalaris with an additional platform for further BPO

growth in Germany and Central Europe, and is expected to be accretive (positive

impact on multiples and EBIT margin) already in 2021.

The acquired company contributes a team of about 80 employees located in Hagen,

near Düsseldorf, as well as a considerable customer base from Germany, Austria,

Switzerland and France, including well-known companies, such as Douglas, Christ

and Thalia.
