U.S. Marine Corps Awards Contract to KONGSBERG for C-UAS Capability

The U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) has awarded Kongsberg Protech Systems USA, a Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (KONGSBERG) subsidiary in the US, a indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to deliver Remote Weapon System (RWS) with 30mm canon, as part of the Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) program. The contract has a potential value of USD94 million.

The KONGSBERG MADIS RWS leverages multiple counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) and air defense capabilities. The RWS will be integrated on the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), and is the first 30mm remote weapon station to be qualified on the JLTV platform.
