Reference is made to Sparebanken Møre’s stock exchange notice concerning the General Meeting held on 23 March 2021 at which the General Meeting decided to distribute NOK 4.50 per equity certificate and NOK 45 million in dividends to the local communities based on the financial year 2020. In addition, the General Meeting issued board authorisation for an additional distribution of dividends of up to NOK 9.00 per equity certificate, as well as distribution of dividends of up to NOK 91 million to the local communities.

In a press release dated 7 September 2021, the Norwegian Ministry of Finance announced that Norwegian banks could apply the normal framework for dividend payments after 30 September.

The Board’s decision on 25 October 2021 is based on an assessment of the prudence of approving and making dividend payments in accordance with Section 10-6, first subsection, of the Financial Institutions Act, including the results as at the end of the third quarter of 2021.
