Veidekke ASA: To build new parking facility in Stockholm
Veidekke's subsidiary Arcona has been contracted to build a new parking garage
in Västberga, Stockholm for Corem Property Group. The project is a collaborative
design and build contract worth SEK 110 million. Construction on the project
starts in January 2022 and is scheduled for completion in March 2023.
With 135 parking spaces, half of which equipped with EV chargers, the new
Nattskiftet 12 parking facility on Drivhjulsvägen in Västberga will boost the
area's limited parking capacity. The lower floor will also accommodate approx.
500 m[2] of business premises. Concurrently, the neighbouring property
Nattskiftet 14 will be upgraded and rendered more attractive and flexible.
Facades and windows will be renovated, installations and heating systems will be
replaced, and a new staircase and lift will be installed, to make the building
more accessible. A new showroom will also be added.
"Arcona is incredibly proud to have been entrusted with this project for Corem.
Having had the opportunity to collaborate from an early stage in a process we
believe in, we have designed a good product together, and this is exactly how we
provide the best business value for the customer," says Catrin Hansson in
Arcona.
The contract is included in the order book for the current quarter.
