Merger of SpareBank 1 Sørøst-Norge and SpareBank 1 Modum - the Norwegian Competition Authority has cleared the transaction
Reference is made to stock exchange notice dated 16 December 2021 stating that the Supervisory Board in SpareBank 1 Sørøst-Norge and the General Meeting in SpareBank 1 Modum have approved the merger of the two banks.
The Norwegian Competition Authority has the 4 January 2022 cleared this the transaction.
The merger is contemplated to be finalised on 1 April 2022.
