Kongsberg Automotive wins contract worth EUR 42 million in estimated lifetime revenue

Kongsberg Automotive's Couplings business unit has secured a contract worth EUR

42 million in estimated lifetime revenue and average annual revenue of EUR 14

million.

The contract is for the complete Raufoss ABC product range, with various

solutions of compressed air couplings for trucks and buses. The ABC Couplings

connects all components in the compressed air system to improve braking,

suspension, and all auxiliary systems performance on trucks and buses making

driving safe and cost-efficient.

The ABC product range offers easy and flexible assembly, full adaptability

between couplings and other components, improved air system flow, reduced

leakage, lower system weight, lower emissions, and improved total lifetime cost

for the vehicle owners.

The three-year contract starts in January 2022. The products will be supplied to

the various combustion and electric platforms of trucks and buses produced by

the global commercial vehicle manufacturer with operations in Europe, the

Americas, and Asia. Kongsberg Automotive's Couplings facilities in Raufoss

(Norway), Wuxi (China), Willis (United States), and Jundiai (Brazil) will supply

the products.
