Good result from battery test

(Bergen, 25 January 2022): Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS, OSE:BCS)

BCS has a joint collaboration project with Beyonder, a Norwegian eco friendly and energy efficient battery production company. Beyonder is seeking to make the next generation sustainable green batteries and has tested BCS´s EcoNano carbon nanofiber in their electrode materials.

Different wt% of carbon nanofiber were tested and the result have shown that by adding BCS carbon nanofibers increased the battery performance and internal resistance was reduced, the test also showed increased specific and volumetric capacitance. The batteries with carbon nanofiber showed promising performance even at very high current densities.

The next step for Beyonder is to test BCS`s carbon nanofibers in larger scale to enable closer trial to comparable processing techniques in the prototype line.
