The collaboration regards Bergen Carbon Solutions AS and TioTech AS
Bergen, 28 February. 2022): Bergen Carbon Solutions AS (BCS, OSE:BCS)
As guided on the press release dated 12.04.2021 Where BCS and TioTech received 500kNOK in funding for the project “TiO2-CNF”. A nanocomposite for fast-charging Li-ion batteries. The project was set up and aimed to study the usage of our EcoNano CNF for fast charging capabilities in TioTech`s white titania powders, the project where called “the black and white project”.
The pre-project showed that carbon nanofibers have potential to increase the capacity of titania. The project was largely carried out according to plan and in line with the intentions and gave an overall positive return for both TioTech and BCS. However, the preliminary results indicate that further testing and development needs to be carried out.
“I am happy that the collaboration with TioTech is going in the right direction, we still aim to be a supplier of our green EcoNano CNF to different applications, and this is a step in right direction” Says CEO Jan B Sagmo.
