Sparebanken Møre adjusts interest rates
Sparebanken Møre increases lending and deposit rates by up to 0.5 percentage points.
The reason for the change is the increased money market rates and the key policy rate adjustment from Norges Bank.
For retail customers the new interest rates will be effective on 8 August 2022 for existing loans, and on 30 June 2022 for new loans. For deposits the new rates will be valid from 27 August 2022.
Customers will be notified on how the rate change will affect their loans and deposits in the internet bank/mobile bank or in a letter by regular post.
– A rising interest rate market, combined with a general increase in the cost level, result in an increased need for financial advice. Our business model is based on accessibility, strong competence, superb customer service and local presence. With 27 branches and 150 financial advisers in the retail market, we are well prepared to assist customers in the time ahead, says Elisabeth Blomvik, EVP Retail Banking Division in Sparebanken Møre.
