Quantafuel ASA | Financing successfully completed for Danish sorting facility

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice by Quantafuel ASA on 24 May 2022 regarding the agreement with our financial partner Eurazeo for the development and operation of the 50/50 joint venture for a plastic waste sorting facility in Esbjerg, Denmark. Following final environmental approval and completing of closing conditions and documents, we are happy to announce that the financing process has been successfully completed. Quantafuel ASA, through Quantafuel Denmark ApS, has sold 50% of the shares in Quantafuel Esbjerg ApS (now: Resource Denmark ApS) to Eurazeo. Eurazeo has committed a total of EUR 40 million to the project.

Remaining condition subsequent is the final building permit expected to be received before year end 2022.
