Update on Regulatory Approval Relating to the purchase of remaining shares of Eldisstöðin Ísþór

Reference is made to the notice dated 25th of May 2022 on Icelandic Salmon´s fully owned subsidiary, Arnarlax´s signing of a Share Purchase Agreement for the remaining 50% of shares in Eldisstöðin Ísþór smolt facility in Þorlákshöfn.

The transaction was subject to approval from Icelandic Competition Authorities (ICA) and was on the 2nd of August formally approved.

With the approval Arnarlax can now finalize the transaction becoming the sole owner of Eldisstöðin Ísþór hf., thus taking an important step in the strategy of increased smolt weight, allowing increased MAB license utilization while reducing production time in sea and thereby biological risk.

No external financing will be required for the finalization of the transaction.
