BioFish – Successful delivery of largest post-smolt batch to date

Reference is made to the stock exchange announcement on 26 January 2022 regarding a contract for delivery of postsmolt to a customer during the spring of 2023. BioFish has today successfully completed the delivery to our customer on schedule. The delivery was the largest so far in the company’s history at approximately 190 tons.

BioFish has previously estimated a production volume of 500-750 tons for the full year of 2023. With the two deliveries that has taken place in Q1 2023, the company is well on track to reach the estimated production volume for the full year of 2023. Based on the deliveries, revenues for Q1 2023 are expected to exceed the total revenues for the full year of 2022.

About Biofish:

Biofish is a land-based producer of smolt – juvenile fish destined for aquaculture facilities. The company’s production takes place in its production facilitiy in Kvam on the Norwegian west coast, using a Recirulating Aquaculture System (RAS), which recycles at least 99% of the water used. Biofish deliver smolt to salmon farms along the Norwegian coast.
