Miami, FL, 4 April 2023

Reference is made to the notice from Atlantic Sapphire ASA (the "Company") for an extraordinary general meeting to be held on 11 April 2023 (the "EGM").

Johan Andreassen, Chairman of the board of the Company, has received proxies to vote for 8,618,055 shares in the Company at the EGM, corresponding to 5.62% of the outstanding shares and votes.

In addition, Andreassen controls (through Alsco AS and JEA Holding AS) 11,501,114 shares and votes in the Company, corresponding to 7.5% of the outstanding shares and votes. This implies that Andreassen is entitled to vote for 20,119,169 shares in the Company at the EGM, corresponding to 13.13% of the total outstanding votes.

The voting proxies lapse automatically after the EGM has been held.

This notification is made with reference to section 4-3 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act and is subject to the disclosure requirements pursuant to section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.

The Company completed its first commercial harvest in the US in September 2020. Atlantic Sapphire is currently constructing its Phase 2 expansion, which will bring total annual production capacity to 25,000 tons, and has a targeted long term harvest volume of 220,000 tons.
