Pursuant to the requirements set out in the Securities Trading Act, regulated by the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (“FSA”) and by the Oslo Stock Exchange, please be advised of the shareholding in Storebrand ASA for T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc.

T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. and its affiliates (“T. Rowe Price”), as described in more detail below, serve as investment adviser to various entities including institutional clients, sub-advised funds, common trust funds and proprietary mutual funds (“Advisory Clients”). T. Rowe Price is making the following disclosure. On 10 April 2023, Advisory Clients of T. Rowe Price increased their amount of loaned voting shares with a right of recall to 8,043,149. This decreased our net ownership below 5% to 22,939,459 common shares or 4.86%, representing 22,628,740 voting rights or 4.79% of Storebrand ASA. Our aggregate ownership remains above the 5% threshold with a total of 30,982,608 common shares or 6.56%, representing 30,671,889 voting rights or 6.50% of Storebrand ASA.

Explanation of the T. Rowe Price Organization:

T. Rowe Price Group, Inc. (“TRPG”) owns 100% of T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc. (“TRPA”). TRPG is a holding company with no physical assets and no independent operations of its own. TRPG is a publicly traded company on NASDAQ under ticker TROW. There are no controlling stockholders of this company. TRPG has officers and directors, but no independent employees. All TRPG employees are employees of operating subsidiaries. TRPG does not directly hold any shares of Storebrand ASA.

TRPA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TRPG. TRPA is registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) as an investment advisor under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. TRPA does not directly hold any shares of Storebrand ASA.
