NEW APPOINTMENT INCREASES FOCUS ON EXPLOITING NEW PRODUCT OPPORTUNITIES

OSLO, NORWAY – 13 JUNE 2023 – Sustainable biochemicals company Circa Group AS (stock symbol: CIRCA) welcomes Dr Alessandro Napoli as VP Product Development, commencing September 2023.

Joining the Circa leadership team, Alessandro's responsibilities include development of levoglucosenone derivatives as well as optimizing process chemistry for the ReSolute and FC6 manufacturing operations.

Following a PhD in materials science from ETH Zurich and post doc work including biomaterials, Dr Napoli has held management roles with Huntsman Corporation in Europe involving both opportunity identification and development including most recently leading the New Material Platforms Team.
