Appointment of Chief Financial Officer
Reference is made to the stock exchange notice dated 28 Feb 2023 regarding the transition of Group CFO, and subsequent stock exchange notice dated 01 Aug 2023 regarding the change in ownership of the Australian subsidiaries.
Following the administration process, incumbent Group CFO Helen Chow and CFO Designate Jessie Lai, have both stepped down from the role. Vanessa Tan will take over as Group CFO effective 03 Aug 2023.
Vanessa joined Barramundi Group in July 2020 with over 8 years in audit and assurance, most recently with Deloitte & Touche LLP. Her working experience spans across various functions, industries and geographies, not limited to external audit, IT audit and data analytics.
As the Group's previous Head of Finance (Group Commercial & Ops), Vanessa has since supported business development, due diligence, and IPO-related activities. She now oversees the Group’s day-to-day financial operations and leads a “whole of organisation” approach to achieve business optimisation and integration drive across all BUs.
Vanessa earned her degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Accountant with ISCA.
