New members of Swedbank's Group Executive Committee

Swedbank appoints Anna-Karin Laurell as the new Head of Swedish Banking and

Malin Lilliecrona as Head of a new business area. Both are therefore part of the

Group Executive Committee.

Swedbank is establishing a new business area with a focus on premium and private

banking customers. At the same time, the corporate customers, which are

currently handled by advisors in Swedish Banking, are being moved to Corporates

and Institutions.

"With the changes, we can work more focused on availability and customer

satisfaction for all our private customers. At the same time, we are increasing

the pace of developing the coherent offering to companies," says Jens

Henriksson, President and CEO of Swedbank.

Anna-Karin Laurell has been appointed Head of Swedish Banking. She has extensive

experience as CEO, Sales and Customer Service Manager in banking, insurance,

telecommunications and the auction market. Anna-Karin previously held the

position of Head of Marketing and Sales at Folksam.

"I can't imagine a more exciting assignment than leading Swedish Banking

operations and, together with new colleagues, I look forward to continuing the

work of making our customers' financial lives easier," says Anna-Karin Laurell.

Malin Lilliecrona will be head of the new business area with a focus on premium

and private banking customers. Malin is currently head of the Wealth sales

organisation within Swedish Banking.

"The new business area creates opportunities to further enhance our offering, so

that we can grow together with our customers. I'm honoured and happy to have

this opportunity and look forward to making the journey together with all

employees," says Malin Lilliecrona.

Anna-Karin Laurell and Malin Lilliecrona will take up their positions no later

than 1 April 2024.

"I look forward to welcoming both Anna-Karin and Malin to the Group Executive

Committee. And I would also like to thank Mikael Björknert for his excellent

work as Head of Swedish Banking," says Jens Henriksson, President and CEO of

Swedbank.

Mikael Björknert will take on the role of Senior Advisor, when the new business

area managers take over.
