Acquisition of PenSam Forsikring A/S completed

Reference is made to earlier announcement on Gjensidige's agreement to acquire

PenSam Forsikring A/S in Denmark, with premiums of DKK 118 million. The

transaction has been approved by the relevant authorities and is completed

today.
