Gigante Salmon AS: Initiated testing and commissioning with water in first production unit

A major milestone achieved when Gigante Salmon now has filled the first production unit with sea water.

Functional testing of production equipment is ongoing, with the target of releasing smolt as soon as the test period has been completed.

- Initial test run is positive, everything is working as planned and we have not encountered any unforeseen challenges, says CEO Helge E. W. Albertsen in Gigante Salmon AS.

The land-based salmon farming facility, which is under construction in Rødøy, will start the production in production unit no.3. The two remaining production units will be completed during 2024, with a final completion of the total plant 2H2024.
