Highlights 2023:

Protector Forsikring ASA recorded a profit of NOK 1509.3m (1 379.0) for 2023. The insurance service result was NOK 1 079.9m (700.8), corresponding to a combined ratio of 88.5% (89.4). The total return on investments including insurance finance was 944.2m (1 084). The return on investments excluding insurance finance was 7.9% (3.4).

In 2023, gross written premiums ended at NOK 10 423m, up 47% (37 % in local currencies) relative to 2022.

Highlights Q4 2023:

Protector Forsikring ASA recorded a profit of NOK 675.8m (613.2) for the fourth quarter. The insurance service result was NOK 361.1m (166.7), corresponding to a combined ratio of 86.4% (90.6). The total return on investments including insurance finance was 504.3m (546.1). The return on investments excluding insurance finance was 5.1% (4.6).

In Q4, gross written premiums amounted to NOK 2 060m, up 62% (48% in local currencies) relative to Q4 2022.

The Board has, in accordance with the mandate received from the Annual General Meeting in 2023, decided to distribute a special dividend of NOK 412.2m, corresponding to NOK 5.00 per share. The payment will take place on 14 February 2024.

The SCR-ratio was 195% (195) year-end, post dividend.
