PetroNor E&P ASA: Correction to Company update re Økokrim Charges
Oslo, 15 May 2024: PetroNor E&P ASA ("PetroNor" or the "Company") refers to the Company statement issued on 13 May 2024 which discussed revisions to the 2021 charges and allegation of corruption against two individuals related to the Company.
The statement could be read to imply that Eyas Alhomouz was also subject to these charges which is not the case. Both Mr. Alhomouz and the Company have been given the formal status as suspects in the Økokrim investigation into market disclosures resulting from the revised charges against the individuals however neither Mr. Alhomouz nor PetroNor are charged.
The statement has been corrected in the Company's Q1 Interim Report which is released today.
