Changes in Swedbank´s Group Executive Committee

Anders Karlsson will leave as Chief Financial Officer for Swedbank to become

General Manager for the bank´s branch in the US. He has been the bank´s CFO

during the last 8 years and will assume his new role by the beginning of next

year.

- I would like to thank Anders for an excellent job during our years

together. He has significantly contributed to securing a stable financial

situation for the bank. Anders has also laid the foundation for our plan

Swedbank 15/25 - a sustainable return on equity of at least 15%, says Jens
