Industrial Automation Integrators (IAI) B.V. in Veldhoven, a subsidiary of DOCdata N.V. in Waalwijk, has shipped the first BookMaster 220 system of the passport systems, which were ordered for Ukraine in 2004, after the delivery conditions for the shipment of this system were fulfilled.
The customer for the supply of these systems to Ukraine has agreed with IAI an adjustment of the original contract. The adjusted order now consists of the delivery of one BookMaster 220 and two BookMaster One passport systems, and represents a revenue for IAI of over € 5 million. It is expected that not all systems can be delivered by IAI in the year 2007. The BookMaster One includes amongst others the following functionality: laser engraving of photo and data, laser perforation of NumberPerf® and ImagePerf/TLI®, loading biometric data in the chip and quality control of all applied features.
