Océ, an international leader in digital document management, today announced the nomination of Hans A. Kerkhoven to succeed Chief Financial Officer Jan van den Belt in the Board of Executive Directors. An Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders will be held on 21 October 2008 to endorse the nomination of the new CFO.
Van den Belt, 62, will be stepping down from the Board of Executive Directors, having reached his retirement age. He has been CFO at Océ since the year 2000.
Kerkhoven, 45, will join Océ on 1 October 2008.
After graduating in Economics from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Kerkhoven held various financial management positions at Unilever between 1988 and 2004 in The Netherlands, Hungary and Singapore. He joined Mittal Steel (now ArcelorMittal) in 2004, fulfilling various financial management roles. He is currently based in Luxembourg as ArcelorMittal's Vice President Finance and Performance Management, and bears financial responsibility for annualized revenues of EUR 13 billion.
Following Hans Kerkhoven's appointment by the General Meeting of Shareholders, the Board of Executive Directors of Océ will consist of:
