10 October 2008 – Influenced by the general turbulence in the financial markets, the possible tightening of financing facilities and the uncertainty about the impact of the above on the future business results, both parties have agreed to postpone the closing of the acquisition of Bíndar in Spain as announced on 23 May 2008 until after Q4.
The financial, legal and operational due diligence of Bíndar that has taken place over the last 3 months has confirmed the positive sentiments about Bíndar. The decision to postpone the transaction is merely caused by the current uncertainties as a result of which parties prefer to be cautious. Both parties have agreed to reassess the transaction in February 2009.
Bíndar, its headquarters in Madrid and offices covering the Iberian Peninsula, is one of the leading Microsoft Dynamics suppliers in the Spanish language market. With a clear customer focus, Bíndar is number one in the Microsoft ranking of customer satisfaction. For more information, visit www.bindar.es.
