28 November 2008 – As from 1 December 2008 Michiel Wolfswinkel will start as CFO of Qurius NV. At the first Annual General Meeting of Shareholders he will be nominated as statutory director. On 1 December 2008 Tom Stolk will withdraw from the Executive Board and will leave the company by mutual agreement.
Until August 2008 Michiel Wolfswinkel has been statutory director and CFO of Van Der Moolen Holding NV and previously held various financial positions at Eneco, Matrix One and AT&T.
In the Executive Board Tom Stolk has been responsible for the Qurius operations outside the Netherlands.
Fred Hermans, CEO Qurius NV: "In the Qurius operational model the Country Managers have a lot of autonomy. By this change in the Board structure we intend to create a short and direct communication line between the CEO and the Country Managers and, consequently, between strategy and operation. At the same time, by fulfilling the statutory position of CFO in the Executive Board we will lay the foundation of tighter financial control."
Besides Fred Hermans as CEO and Michiel Wolfswinkel as CFO, the Executive Board is completed by Frank van der Woude, COO, who will remain primarily responsible for Qurius NL BV, the largest operation.
