Technology company IAI will supply passport personalisation systems to a country in Europe

Technology company IAI in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, a subsidiary of the stock listed company DOCDATA N.V. in Waalwijk, the Netherlands, will supply four BookMaster One systems for the personalisation of passports to a country in Europe.

IAI's principal is a local subsidiary of 3M Company located in St. Paul (Minneapolis, USA). The 3M subsidiary will acquire the systems within the framework of a government order. At request of the principal, IAI will not announce which European country it concerns.

BookMaster One systems perform the entire personalisation of the passport in one pass through the machine, including a quality verification of all processing done. Thus, the system is able to turn blank passports offered to the machine, into fully personalised passports ready for issuing. BookMaster One systems are already employed in the personalisation of Swiss and Ukrainian passports and will also be used for the personalisation of Swedish and Algerian passports. Other IAI systems are employed in the processing of passports for countries such as: The Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Ireland, Sweden, Estonia and Canada.

Being a leading equipment supplier to the Security Printing market, IAI also supplies systems for securing and/or personalisation of ID-cards, driver licences, banknotes, diplomas and other security documents.

Technology company IAI also offers laser processing systems for producers of solar cells or modules.
