Exercise of Options

Star Energy (AIM:STAR) announces that it has allotted 269,836 Ordinary Shares of 0.002p (the "New Ordinary Shares") to Ross Glover, Chief Executive Officer following the exercise of nil cost options in the Company. The New Ordinary Shares have been admitted to trading on AIM pursuant to the Company's existing block listing admission facility.

Following the exercise , Ross Glover sold 122,038 shares at a price of £0.08800 each to cover tax and national insurance liabilities, and his resultant holding is set out in the table below:

The issued share capital of the Company following the above detailed issue of shares will be 129,983,995 Ordinary Shares; the number of deferred shares remains 303,305,534. The total number of voting rights in Star Energy will be 129,983,995 Ordinary Shares, which should be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in Star Energy under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
