BE Semiconductor Industries Announces Die Bonding/Wire Bonding Orders

Duiven, the Netherlands, May 12, 2009, BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. ("the Company" or "Besi") (Euronext: BESI), a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced the receipt of two orders aggregating approximately € 4 million for die bonding and wire bonding equipment by its Esec subsidiary.

The first order was received from a European smart card manufacturer and aggregated approximately CHF 4 million. It consisted of 13 die bonders and 21 wire bonders and is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2009 to the customer's European and Asian production facilities. The second order was received from a large Asian subcontractor for use in one of its Chinese production facilities and aggregated approximately US \$1.5 million. It consisted of 20 wire bonders and 2 die bonders and is scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2009.

BE Semiconductor Industries kondigt orders aan voor die bonding/wire bonding machines

Duiven, 12 mei 2009, BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. ("Besi") (Euronext: BESI), een toonaangevende leverancier van assemblagemachines voor de halfgeleiderindustrie, heeft vandaag bekend gemaakt dat haar dochteronderneming Esec twee orders heeft ontvangen voor die bonding en wire bonding machines voor een totaalbedrag van ongeveer € 4 mio.

De eerste order is geplaatst door een Europese smart card producent en bedraagt ongeveer CHF 4 mio. De order bestaat uit 13 die bonders en 21 wire bonders, en verwacht wordt dat levering aan de Europese en Aziatische productiebedrijven van deze klant plaatsvindt in de tweede helft van 2009. De tweede order is geplaatst door een grote Aziatische toeleverancier voor gebruik in een van zijn Chinese productiebedrijven en bedraagt ongeveer US\$ 1.5 mio. De order bestaat uit 20 wire bonders en 2 die bonders en verwacht wordt dat levering plaatsvindt in de tweede helft van 2009.
