Qurius acquires significant IT assignment at Bouter Group

29 June 2009 – Bouter Group, one of the leading players in the European cheese market, has selected Qurius to replace its complete IT system. This includes the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX based Q-Food for 125 users, and delivering a complete new infrastructure including Microsoft Exchange, Office and SharePoint software.

Bouter Group is a company practicing the traditional trade of maturing cheese, whose origins can be traced back to the 19th century. Over the years the company has grown into a hypermodern 24/7 business in maturing, slicing and packaging cheese, logistics, and category management. In the food industry, almost all processes are fully automated, which makes IT essential for the success of a company. Bouter Group needed a fully integrated IT solution to cover all business processes, from packaging and logistics to sales and finance, that would also meet their strict requirements of high availability and continuity. Qurius proved to be the right partner having not only the ability to deliver the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX including Q-Food - the Qurius addon for the food industry - but also the complete infrastructure including the Microsoft software platform.
